Amazon Q Developer (known as Q) is an AI-powered coding assistant that helps all types of developers write and test code faster, all in their favorite integrated development environment (IDE).

My design team at Amazon owns the UI/UX for an entire suite of productivity tools —such as Kiro.dev and Q Developer in the AWS Console and multiple IDEs.

As a UX lead on our IDE plugin, I helped launch our biggest update ever on 4.30.25

allow autonomous code changes

Q can now write and apply code changes - with the power to undo anytime

run shell commands inline

stay in the chat to run shell commands, instead of going to the terminal

a terminal-inspired refresh

Our mission: Give creative power to those aiming to empower others.

Of all people, designers know that some of the greatest social campaigns in history were lifted up by profound graphics. But not everyone can afford a designer.

Funded by a federal grant and launched in 2019, Ex-Out was an open-source brand and mobile app focused on social campaign building against violent extremism.
